This 240m² residence is meticulously composed to substitute any impersonal or "exhibition-like" feel with deep-rooted human warmth and living connection. Designed for a dynamic family of three—a private entrepreneur, an independent writer, and a 5-year-old child—the space demanded a delicate balance. It required an immaculate, minimalist order to soothe the anxieties of a busy professional life, yet needed to remain flexible and soft enough to embrace a child's curiosity.
We abandoned the cold, unapproachable gallery aesthetic in favor of a "lived-in Italian minimalism." Every room and zone is precisely defined by unique black metal frameworks, structuring a De Stijl and Mid-Century Modern geometric language throughout the home. By juxtaposing pristine micro-cement with raw oak and natural travertine, we wove a sanctuary that is both geometrically pure and physically grounding.
Here is a sunny, open and peaceful place. The serene luxury created by the dark-textured Carrara marble blends perfectly with the rich walnut color and a comfortable L-shaped brown leather sofa.

We allocated 15% of the total floor plan to storage, utilizing corridor depths and wall corners to build floor-to-ceiling, handleless hidden cabinets. Keeping clutter behind closed doors allows architectural purity.
Eliminating long, dark hallways, we introduced a dual-loop circulation. Shortened paths and fluid visual connections allow family interactions to occur organically and effortlessly throughout the day.
Rejecting artificial veneers, we opted for solid wood with natural knots and preserved the authentic pores of travertine stone. Materials are allowed to breathe, accumulating the patina of time.
